Unmissable viewing for aviation enthusiasts and Iceland fans
"Those adventurous early glory days of aviation will of course never return and therefore Alfred Eliasson and Loftleidir Icelandic is a gorgeous must-watch documentary for aviation enthusiasts and Iceland fans alike. My Old Man was one of those magnificent men and aviators whose escapades in their rather primitive flying machines took them around Iceland and from there out into the world. Those were the days, my friends, and I was lucky enough to grow up with many rather tall stories from that period. Go watch this film if you want to gain a couple of hours of seat-of-the-pants flying as well as a story of intrepid entrepreneurship and smart perseverance in the face of unexpected headwinds and unforeseen plot twists that would have grounded lesser men."
Loftleidir has a fan club on Facebook with over 3k members. It mostly consists of former workers, their families and aviation enthusiasts all over the world. You are welcome to join the club.
